Play Synopsis: A poetic ensemble piece about a small village in Norway lead by a small ecclesiastical sect whose lives are changed by the joy of an unexpected communal feast.

Player #2 - Female, any age. Narrator; also plays a suitor named Lars, Erna, the Lady of the Swedish Court and Dagfinn, the fishmonger
Player #3 - Male, 20-40. Narrator; also plays Achille Papn, Alf and the horse groomer to old Mrs. Loewenhielm.
Player #4 - Male, 40’s-70’s. Narrator; also plays Loewenhielm and Espen
Player #5 - Male, 15- late 20’s. Narrator; also plays a suitor named Hans, Young Loewenhielm, the red-haired boy named Leif and Osvald.
Player #6 - Female, 20’s- 90’s. Narrator; also plays Mrs. Loewenheilm, Astrid, and Henrick the bread seller.
